2025 QUILT CONTEST ENTRY FORM

Open to all quilt makers: Artisans and Masters

Entry deadline: Monday, August 11, 2025

Entry photos will be juried by the Expo team, and up to 50 finalists will be chosen to compete for ribbons and prize money. Finalists will be announced at SewingExpo.com/QuiltContest on August 22, 2025. If your entry is selected as a finalist, you will be notified by email with further instructions.

Mary Wolter, a NACQJ-certified judge, will select the award-winning quilts at the Expo in Nashville - Lebanon, TN. Winners will be announced at noon CT on October 2, 2025, at the Expo, and at SewingExpo.com/QuiltContest

Prizes:

- Best of Show is awarded a Ribbon and $1,500 (Grand Prize)

- First Place in each division (Artisan and Master) is awarded a Ribbon and $500

- Expo's Choice is awarded a Ribbon and $500

- Viewer's Choice is awarded a Ribbon and $500

- All First Place winners in each category will be awarded a Ribbon

- All Second Place winners in each category will be awarded a Ribbon

- All Finalists receive an exclusive swag bag from Original Sewing & Quilt Expo

I have never engaged in a quilt event or activity for monetary profit of more than $2,000 in a year. i.e., I have never formally taught quilting, quilt-related or wearable arts techniques.

PART FIVE: Traveling Quilt Display

We will curate a group of quilts called 'Best of the Expo' to be exhibited at Original Sewing & Quilt Expo events in 2026.

Quilts will be selected in October 2025. If selected, you will be given further instructions at that time, and your quilt will be traveling from February through November of 2026.

At all times your Quilt will be securely handled by the expert staff of Original Sewing & Quilt Expo. It will be stored and exhibited in climate controlled environments.

$20.00 USD per quilt entry, non-refundable

Within a few days of submitting your entry, you will receive an email invoice from SQUARE with a link to pay by credit card. The email will come from Original Sewing & Quilt Expo / Hoffman Media with an email address of invoicing@messaging.squareup.com. All payments are due August 20, 2025. Unpaid entries will be disqualified once the jury process begins.
