Walk the Runway in Costume
Commentated by Casey Renee of Casey Renee Cosplay

Casey will share her Cosplay experiences and narrate you along a journey of costume art created by fellow Expo attendees. Cosplayers, Reenactors, and Costumers are invited to walk the runway on Saturday at 3:00 on the Expo Stage.


Everyone who walks the runway is eligible to win an Elna sewing machine or a 3-D Printer.

Judging Panel: Casey Renee, Sebastian Rivera, and Jennifer Taylor
The contest is comprised of two divisions – Apprentice and Master. Judging begins at 1:30pm Saturday and final judging will happen at the Runway Show at 3:00pm. Costumes will be judged on a body. Each entrant is required to participate in the Runway Show.

The Apprentice Division winner will receive $100 cash. The second-place winner will receive a bag of cosplay products and tools.


The Master Division winner will receive $200 cash. The second-place winner will receive a bag of cosplay products and tools.

About Casey Renee

Casey Renee is an award-winning cosplayer focused on craftsmanship and sewing. She won the Twitchcon Cosplay Contest in 2018 and had the honor of judging the Twitchcon Cosplay Contest in 2019. Casey is incredibly passionate about cosplay craftsmanship, Disney, historical costuming, and creating educational content.


In 2020 Casey partnered with YouTube to be able to continue her passion for creating educational sewing content through cosplay construction. In 2021, Casey wrote her first book, “Cosplay Foundations: Your Guide to Constructing Bodysuits, Corsets, Hoop skirts, Petticoats, and more”. Casey loves sharing her experience with others and helping the cosplay community as a whole learn new things and celebrate craftsmanship.
