During this full-day technique class, MJ will share with you the same techniques that she's used for over 25 years to create her giant gem quilts. This technique is perfect for any quiltmaker who has an idea for a design in which every piece is a different shape, size, or color. While MJ's inspiration are gemstones, yours might be florals, landscapes, portraits, or abstracts. The technique is the same! And best of all, this is NOT foundation paper piecing. If you can sew two pieces of fabric with right sides together, YOU CAN DO THIS!

In addition, MJ will share her secrets of how to make quilts sparkle and glow by selecting the most effective color pairings.
