Draw your way to learning very simple ways to create beautiful freehand quilting without having to follow a pattern. There is no math involved, and with very little marking you can work the whole way across your quilt top without having to stop. Learn to use the blocks and piecing within the quilt as your guides as well as designs that totally disregard the piecing. This is not an allover stipple/loops background fill type of quilting --- these are open, flowing designs that will move across your quilts. See how to inter- lock your quilting to avoid the rows look, and discuss how these same ideas can be applied to custom quilting for blocks, and borders.
