Build your free motion confidence while making a lovely lace scarf. If you have ever wanted to try your hand at free motion sewing but were too afraid, this boutique style scarf is just the project. With Michelle’s guidance you will find that making the thread lace is so easy and it can even be quite relaxing! The end result is a beautiful scarf to wear or gift and no two are exactly alike!

  • Advance Prep:

    Be sure to purchase the kit at least three weeks prior to class using the link in the Student Supply List. Cut the Sulky Ultra Solvy Stabilizer to 10 x 36 inchs, cut a piece of stabilizer 6 x 6 inches for testing. Wind a bobbin about ¼ full with 12 wt. thread. Thread the machine with 30 wt. thread.

    90/14 topstitch needle, 100/16 jeans needle, rotary cutter, cutting mat,  6 x 24 inch ruler, Sewer’s Aid (available for purchase when purchasing the kit) The Thread Director (available for purchase when purchasing the kit) (optional)
