This is the third and final block in this skill building series. But don’t worry if you missed the first two… each block in the series can be done independently. Block 3 of the series will not disappoint as the focus remains on the fundamentals of fabric cutting and piecing. Class will start with a center block surrounded by flying geese and corner squares. With Tammie as your guide you will learn easy ways to modify with half-square triangles, and hour-glass blocks as you continue to build your skills toward mastery. Beginning quilt making skills are the focus but intermediate and advanced quilters are sure to pick up some great techniques and ideas along the way.

Advance Prep:
Be sure to purchase your kit at least one week prior to class using the link in the Student Supply List.

Have sewing machine set up with coordinating thread and cutting and pressing station nearby.

You will also need: Thread; rotary cutter and mat; pins; 6 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch ruler; sewing machine; iron. Optional: 1/4-inch piecing foot.
