cut each 1/4 yard into 8 inch x width of fabric (wof) for the lap quilt. Cut (2) 8 inch x wof for the bed quilt.

cut fabric into (2) lengths 8  x 22 inch (important: make sure you are cutting your fabric 22 inch wide, not 18 inch wide) Stack two pieces, right sides up.

(if you are ordering less than two weeks before the class, you are welcome to join the class as scheduled, and follow along with the recording once the kit has arrived as you will have access to the recorded class for one year.)

You will also need:

60 degree ruler, 30 degree ruler, rotary cutter with new blade, mat and 12 - 24 inch ruler. Sewing machine with 1/4 inch foot, neutral thread, iron.

The pattern comes with full sized paper templates, however I strongly urge students to use acrylic rulers.  If you're not sure if your ruler is the correct one, please email me prior to class so I can take a look. heatherkojan@gmail.com
