In this introductory workshop to Sashiko, a Japanese form of decorative reinforcement stitching, students will learn about the history and the basic supplies needed to begin stitching this unique style. Jen will show you the best ways to transfer the design and demonstrate the stitches, as well as discussing its application for big-stitch hand quilting.
