If you have ever wanted to add the skill of quilt making to your repertoire or just improve your basic quilt making skills then join Tammie in one…or all three of her Basic Piecing Skills classes which will focus on the fundamentals of fabric cutting and piecing. It sounds simple enough but there are a number of ways to accomplish these things and Tammie will skillfully guide you through the various techniques. Learn the basic four-patch block and then up your game by also learning to create distinctive variations of that pattern. This is a must for beginners and a great refresher for intermediate or advanced quilters as well.

Advance Prep:
Be sure to purchase your kit at least one week prior to class using the link in the Student Supply List.

Have your sewing machine threaded with coordinating thread and have cutting and pressing nearby.

You will also need: Thread; rotary cutter and mat; pins; 6 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch ruler; iron; sewing machine. Optional: 1/4-inch piecing foot.
