Creating a masterpiece can be so daunting. In this lecture/demo class you will learn how to free yourself from the fear of a blank palette. Lori will walk you thru her process of creating a quilted piece of art from start to finish. First learn Lori’s method of creating an interesting pallet. Making a statement is as easy as incorporating a fun pun, arranging bouquets of roses and adding a variety of color with leaf shapes. Detail and dimension is accomplished with simple thread painting that can be accomplished in more than one way. Learn Lori's method of "Two Separate Layers of Quilting" which allows her art to be clean and crisp on the front and back. Binding is so easy when created on a serger which is her favorite method and is a great spin on a traditional technique.
