Quilting with your walking foot is a great way to achieve professional looking results when finishing your quilts. Start with the basics of using your walking foot for effortless machine quilting. Then, dig a little deeper and see what more you can achieve with a various stitches and stitch patterns. You’ll be amazed at all that your walking foot can do to help you easily finish your quilts at home. Bring your own fabric; see supply list for details.

  • Advance Prep: Assemble you quilt sandwiches - (cotton fabric, cotton batting, cotton fabric).
  • Supply List:
    Fabric scissors, small scissors or snips, straight pins, pencil, marking instrument (pen, pencil or chalk) and seam ripper.

     

    Fabric requirements:

    • (8-12) fat quarter size (18 x 22-inch) pieces of quilting cotton - tone on tone fabrics or solid colors are preferred
    • (4-6) fat quarter size pieces of cotton batting
  • Completion Level: You will complete a number of techniques in class.
