Join Andrew Lee, aka The Combat Quilter, to learn the basics of making the Double Star with half square triangles. Learn all the steps and why we make the blocks the way we do. You will also get to try your hand at a great way to make flying geese. By the end of class, you will have one, if not both, of the star blocks sewn and the topper or table runner (You get to choose!) well on its way to being complete. The kits provided will be precut and ready to sew so you can concentrate on learning the sewing and pressing techniques. Kit will make two table toppers with binding or a table runner in your choice of Patriotic or Christmas fabric. The table runner can be made 17 x 36-inches up to 17 x 72-inches. It's all in the kit or you can choose to make a 24-28-inch square table topper.
