This class will explore the different fabrics you can embroider on today and how to stabilize for success.  You will create several projects including a journal cover using cork and glitter fabric, embossing and adding a monogram to a towel, plus in the hoop applique.

I will also discuss how to sew on screen, using Mylar for that metallic look without using metallic threads, how to sew lace, embroidery on knits, using embroidery for quilting and applique and more. There will be time built into this class to discuss stabilizers and what types to use for different designs/fabrics.  

There will be a mini trunk show to show you how to use these fabrics in your projects.
