In this immersive workshop, students will learn how to create improvisational curved quilt blocks and transform them into bold, modern wall art stretched over canvas. We’ll explore simple curve cutting and sewing (no templates!), color and composition, and how to mount a quilted piece onto canvas for a polished, gallery-ready finish. Perfect for confident beginners and beyond who want to try improv techniques, modern design, and new ways to display their quilts as art.

 

Material fee includes: Fabric and Batting 15 fat eighths, 1 piece low-loft batting Canvas 1 pre-primed artist canvas per student
