Take your panty sloper to the next level in this fun, design-forward workshop where you’ll draft, cut, and sew a custom pair of panties featuring a beautiful lace overlay panel. Bring your sloper from the “Perfect Fit from the Bottom Up” class, or use a standard sloper provided by the instructor—we’ll walk through how to turn it into a finished, wearable design with both fit and flair. In the first half of class, you’ll design and draft your pattern, cut your pieces, and prep for construction. The second half is all about sewing your design using stretch fabrics and elastics—all on a regular home sewing machine. No sergers needed! You’ll leave class with a completed pair of custom-designed panties and the skills to sew stretch garments with confidence.

In this follow-up to the custom sloper class (or as a standalone for confident beginners), students will design and sew a pair of custom panties with a lace overlay front panel. Using either their own drafted sloper or a standard one provided, they’ll learn to adapt a basic block into a finished pattern, cut their pieces, and sew them up using stretch fabric and elastics—all on a regular home sewing machine.

This class is perfect for anyone who wants to build confidence working with knits, explore lingerie sewing, and walk away with a beautifully finished project. We’ll cover lace placement, elastic finishing, and stretch techniques—no serger required. The atmosphere is relaxed, body-positive, and creativity-driven, with students leaving not just with a finished pair of custom undies, but the skills to make more.

Material fee includes: lace, elastic, micro nylon spandex fabric, pattern paper for the draft
