Did you know blue is the world's most favorite color? Indigo dye was first imported from India to Europe in the late 1400s and has been popular ever since. If you are intrigued by the history of this rich color and want to learn basic dyeing techniques this is a can't miss class.

Color expert, Joyce Teng, has developed her own indigo formula using Tsukineko inks. Learn how to prepare fabric for dyeing by pleating and twisting, to create indigo prints that reflect your personal style. From bold geometric angles to soft organic patterns, each piece will be unique. As a bonus, Joyce will share one or two basic Shibori techniques. No prior experience is needed—just a sense of curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little blue.
