Bargello quilts may look complex, but they’re surprisingly easy—and a lot of fun—to make! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn time-saving strip-piecing techniques to create a striking Bargello-style wall hanging. Instead of completing just one block, students will work through many of the Bargello columns in class, giving you strong momentum and a clear path to finishing your project at home. We’ll also take a few minutes during class to explore a brief history of the Bargello technique, adding context and appreciation for this classic quilt style. You’ll have your choice of colorways to make your wall hanging uniquely yours—and you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to tackle future Bargello projects with ease.
