This class explores the detailed relationship between your arms, posture, and the structure of your bodice. Using the supportive Seam Method, you’ll learn to recognize and adjust for upper back, neck, shoulder, and arm variations.

  • • The Anatomy of the Armhole: Learn to identify when a fit issue requires a change to the sleeve, the bodice, or a combination of both. You'll gain a clear understanding of how these two pieces work together for comfort and mobility.
  • • Postural Precision: Learn how to use Seam Method techniques to thoughtfully accommodate common figure variations, such as forward shoulders, a rounded upper back, or forward head alignment.
  • • The Goal: To understand the most complex area of the bodice. You’ll leave knowing key measurements and understanding upper body figure variations. You will see how the Seam Method enables you to alter patterns accurately for these variations.
