We invite you to join us as we create essential fashion items for your 18-inch doll. Your doll will be ready for anything with a basic dress using the Evelyn pattern from Paisley Bunny Designs and a coordinating denim jacket from Liberty Jane Patterns.. Making smaller scale clothes is a great opportunity to learn a number of sewing skills.

You will learn how to put in an invisible zipper, make perfect gathers, and finish the inside edges with a serger. With these basic techniques in hand, you will be ready to make this dress over and over again.

The details of the denim jacket make it special. You will learn to set in sleeves with a cuff, add a collar, faux pockets, back tabs, flat fell seams, buttonholes and all of the top stitching details seen on jean jackets. Don't let all of these techniques put you off as you read them, as Linda is the expert in breaking down every step to its most understandable method that is easily accomplished. If you have never had a class with her, you are in for a treat!

We will end the day with a runway show – so bring your mini model!
