  • Supply List:
    Two (2) sheets 8 1/2 x 11-inch printer paper, mechanical pencil, paper scissors, fabric scissors, straight pins, marking instrument, seam ripper, glue stick or tape runner, 12.5-inch square ruler, 6 x 24-inch ruler, rotary cutter with new blade. Note: Cutting mats will be available in the classroom.

     

    Fabric requirements:

    A variety of fabric strips varying in width from 1 1/2 to 3 inch wide and at least 11 inches long to equal approximately 1/2 yard total to make 1 diamond block, (1) strip white or white on white fabric strip 1 1/2 inch wide x 40 inches long, (4) squares solid fabric 5 x 5 inches.

  • Completion Level: Several blocks will be completed in class.
