Modern Hexies is a fresh, innovative twist on traditional English paper piecing. In this class Kaye will show you how Modern Hexies get their foundation, but we will bring them into a modern setting by switching things up. Instead of joining the hexies to one another by hand, they are laid out in a grid and then quilted down onto a background. Bring your own fabric; see supply list for details.

Supply List:
Needle, thread, scissors, glue pen or glue with micro tip applicator, marking tool of choice, rotary cutter and ruler. Note: Cutting mats will be available in the classroom.

Fabric requirements:

Scraps work great for this project! One fat quarter for the top, one fat quarter for the backing and extra for binding.
Completion Level: Mostly complete. May have a bit to finish at home.
