  • Student Maximum: 20
  • Category(ies): Quiltmaking, Piecing Techniques
  • Experience Level: Confident beginner. Student should be able to accurately cut with a rotary cutter and ruler plus understand and be able to sew a 1/4-inch seam allowance.
  • Supply List: Bring to class: 10 fat quarters or 1/4 yard of solid fabric, rotary cutter with fresh blade, 12.5-inch square ruler, 6 x 24-inch ruler, basic sewing kit including (but not limited to), scissors, seam ripper, marking tools, pins or sewing clips, any other items student typically sews with. To complete quilt as shown, you will need: 25 fat quarters or ¼ yard of solid fabric; ⅝ yard binding fabric; 5 yards backing fabric and batting, at least 70 x 94-inches. Note: Rotary cutting mats will be available in the classroom.
  • Completion Level: Students will complete several blocks, at least one of each type
