Scrappy Applique is a unique, quick, and fun raw-edge applique technique. I It is a really fun process that is perfect for beginners and advanced quilters, alike. Beginners love it because it is approachable, simple, and does not require much precision. Experienced quilters enjoy it because it is a very unique process with lots of creative possibilities! Participants will choose their own pattern and Deb will help you bring it to life right before your eyes! Bring your own fabric; see supply list for details.

Advance Prep:
- Purchase digital pattern of your choice at tiny.cc/sbpatterns.
- Print and tape together the digital pattern prior to class.
Supply List:
- Your choice of Scrappy Applique Pattern can be purchased at tiny.cc/sbpatterns
- 28mm rotary cutter with new blade
- 6x18-inch rotary ruler
- Fabric scissors
- Permanent fabric marker not removable by heat such as Micron pens
- Reynolds brand parchment
- Fray check
- Note: Rotary cutting mats will be available in the classroom.
- Label all sewing tools with your name.
Fabric requirements:
- 8-12 fat eighths or equivalent large scraps of fabric and background fabric.
- Check the pattern you purchased for the exact fabric requirements for both.
Completion Level:
- If choosing smaller pattern most with complete in class.
- Those with larger pattern will complete 50 percent or more.
