The Half Hexie is versatile and easy to master! Choose your favorite colorway to create this difficult looking quilt which is oh so easy to create! We'll learn how to cut the half hexies using an acrylic template and jelly roll strips, fat quarters or your 2.5-inch scrap strips. Then try your hand at improv placement. Yes, improv! It’s fun and easy and you’ll be stitching up fantastic quilt tops in very little time. Bring your own fabric; see supply list for details.

If using yardage and not the jelly roll of prints, cut 2.5-inch strips cut width of fabric of coordinating fabric approximately 10-15 strips total.
Basic sewing supplies including neutral thread or thread to match your fabric (black, white, gray and ecru thread will be available for classroom use); rotary cutter with new blade; 6 x 24-inch rotary ruler. Note: Rotary cutting mat will be available in the classroom.
Fabric requirements:
One (1) 2.5-inch jelly roll of prints OR 6-8 coordinating fat quarters; 1 yard of solid for background, binding and borders.
Runner top completed and ready to quilt.
