Make-It Take-It projects are a great way to learn new things at the Expo. They’re quick little projects that put your hands on a new technique or product in an informal, fun atmosphere. Look for the samples on display at the Expo, along with signs directing you to participating Exhibitors’ booths.

Learn to weave a on a small loom using exotic fibers. You’ll finish a neck piece ready to accessorize your favorite look.

Early Times Workshop: Woven Heart Basket
Marty Moon will show you how these clever double sided fused fabric shapes weave together, forming a heart shaped basket. A few hand sewing stitches will attach the handle with buttons. This basket is perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree with tiny gifts tucked inside or as a party favor for a special occasion with treats. You may stop by the booth throughout the day any time a seat is available.

Innova by the Longarm Network: Quilted Tote     $7.00
If you’ve always wanted to try out a longarm quilting machine, this is a great opportunity. Stop by the Innova booth, where you can create a personalized tote on the longarm. You may select you applique from a seasonal selection for Trick or Treat or Christmas.

Sew Artfully Yours: Silk Screen & Crystals T-shirt     $10.00
You’ll want to sign up early for your opportunity to learn two embellishment techniques. Embellish a T-shirt by applying your own crystal applique and adding a silk screen design. Our embellishments are applied to a 100% cotton T-shirt in your choice of black or purple, which is completely washable and dryable. When you see how easy this is, you’ll want more than one. Great for gifts! Shirt sizes range from Child 4/5, 10/12, Adult medium, large, X-large and 2X-large.

Sew Wonderful Dreams: Applique – Easy for Everyone     $5.00
Create a charming applique’ tea towel for yourself or as a gift with Connie Spurlock. The method, the process and experience first-hand how easy it is when using a pressing sheet. Tea towel and fabric are included for the fee. You may stop the booth anytime to complete this project whenever there is a spot available.
