The Galaxy quilt is the result of a beautiful alternating block design using two types of blocks: one with Star A and one with Star B. Because of the color placement and the different angles in the triangles, the interesting interlocking circles appear and the second star block (B) disappears into the circles as you build your quilt. It’s a fun optical illusion, easy to make and even easier to admire. Create the two blocks that make up the Galaxy Quilt in class, as you learn to use two Studio 180 tools to make things super-easy and accurate! Materials fee includes the Galaxy pattern and both Studio 180 tools, which are used to create many, many traditional and contemporary quilt tops. Bring your own fabric: see supply list for details.
