Arms "eye" (armscye that is!). Some arms are heavier in back, some need more room in front. Standard cap shapes may not be the best fit for every arm. Some arms are short above the elbow, some are long, or from elbow to wrist! Learn how to measure for these differences, and discover some of the many figure variations that affect sleeve comfort. Practice making some of these changes on half scale patterns, then see how to install a sleeve into a garment without puckers. Practice your own sleeve installation, and the art of ‘flying pins’ and a dressmaker’s secret you’ll use forever.
