21st Century High-speed Lockstitch Sewing and Quilting Machine

Juki now has the world's first digital fabric feed, tension and feed locus. The machines is direct-drive, no gears or belts to jam, break or stretch. The machine can sew up to four times faster than your typical home sewing machines. The Juki corporation staff will demonstrate this amazing machine. There are just a few of these machines in the US awaiting UL approval for import. This will be the only opportunity to see & sew on this machine until late October.

North Texas Quilt Festival

The daily Quilt Auction is open to everyone. Proceeds from the auction will go to a breast cancer organization and to future education programs at regional quilt guild meetings. Each auction quilt will be labeled as to where the proceeds will go. Quilts can be viewed each morning at the Expo prior to the auction.

This techniques oriented presentation will share ways to change plain yardage into one-of-a-kind fabric, which can be used in any project from traditional quilts to the most unique art quilts to wearable art pieces. Using Tsukineko ink and several simple tools, different media and materials, combined with Joyce’s exciting stencils, you will find it easy to achieve results that inspire you to create your own style of fabric art.
