New to embroidery software? Not feeling confident or wondering what embroidery software is all about? Spend the day becoming familiar with the Husqvarna Viking 4D Software & Pfaff 4D Software. Hands on instruction will be in 4D Configure, 4D Embroidery Extra and 4D Vision. Learn by doing, with exercises designed to help you understand the 4D software. Bonus: take a short tour through other modules, such as 4D Monogram, 4D Design Enhancer, 4D Design Creator and 4D Family Portrait.

- Experience Level: This is an Entry Level class focused on the Husqvarna Viking software; it is appropriate if you have or are considering owning a Viking or Pfaff embroidery machine, 4D Professional software, Pfaff Creative 4D Suite, 4D Embroidery Extra and Creative 4D Embroidery Extra. If you do not own the software, a demonstration CD will be available to install (please arrive one hour prior to class to do so).
- Prerequisite: You should already have a basic working knowledge and understanding of your computer.
- Advance Prep: Complimentary lunch is included. You will receive a voucher in class to use at the concessions counter.
If you already own the software, please do a Smart Update before coming to class. If you want to install a demo CD, please arrive one hour prior to the start of class, with a computer meeting the following requirements: Windows XP or Vista, PC with Intel Processor or equivalent (1 Ghz or higher), and at least 512MB of free Ram.

- Supply List: Bring pen and paper to take notes; your laptop computer with a DVD/CD drive, USB port, power cord, mouse and mouse pad (mouse and pad are required). Laptop must have up to date virus protection. You should know how to turn it off and have all the latest Windows updates.
- Completion Level: Techniques class with exercises completed during class.
