We're thrilled to have Karen with us again offering this very popular class in which you gain the knowledge and confidence to revive your tired furniture and cushions with professional looking results. These slipcovers are tailored, and fit the furniture so well many people think the furniture has been reupholstered. Discuss slipcover styles, learn to estimate yardage, explore fabric types, cutting the slipcover, outlining with weltcord, challenges such as crotch areas and tuck-ins, plus skirt variations. Hands-on techniques include continuous bias, continuous welt cord, stitch in the ditch method (which speeds sewing a slipcover together) and making samples of various chair parts in class.
