Bring a jacket, pants, or other clothing items you already own and turn it into a one-of-a-kind wearable art piece. You will use Sashiko running stitches to add a bold pattern across a yoke, a pocket, a collar, or anywhere you would like to create this one-of-a-kind clothing piece. We will plan your design, mark it so it stays even, and stitch through denim and other fabrics comfortably by hand. You will learn a handful of traditional and modern Sashiko patterns and how to mix color for real impact on any background. You leave wearing, or nearly wearing, a jacket no one else has.
