Advance Prep: Purchase pattern. Using pattern pieces cut the appropriate size out of your fabric. In addition to cutting out the pattern pieces, cut 2 strips of fabric 3 inches by the width of the leg hem. These are to make bands around the bottom of the leg rather than hemming.
Please use Stretch needles size 80/12 and thread your serger for 4 thread overlock using cone thread that matches your fabric.

Supply List: Serger, scissors, pins, 1 inch wide elastic for waistband, 4 cones of serger thread to match your fabric, Stretch needles size 80/12.
Fabric and pattern requirements:
McCalls 6173 (McMalls pattern is recommend, however, any leggings pattern will work as long as it is a One piece leg and an elastic waistband)
