Seems just a few years ago, one was elated when they received a party invitation. Now, the feeling is often stressful, wondering what one can bring that isn't the cause for an allergic reaction or health hazard. Why not embroider something instead? How about a dozen cookie inspired coasters as opposed to high calorie cookies?  Or an ornament that could be a dated memory for the first year of school?
