Seminole Pieced and Piped Pillow

Create a perfect accent pillow on the serger as you learn to insert piping, do some eye catching Seminole piecing and finish it with a zipper closure. Your pillow will include decorative stitching in a heavy-weight thread on the serger and, as usual, Diana’s excellent instruction. Counts as 3 sessions. Materials Fee: $28. Limit 20.

Truly Reversible Pillow

Stitch a truly reversible pillow as you learn to insert a reversible zipper, work with a pillow form and stitch corners properly. Create your pillow for two different looks, using the same techniques you’d use for a duvet or comforter cover. Materials Fee: $20. Limit 12.

Sunflower Wallhanging

This project has it all – embroidery, crystals, 3-D embroidery, appliqué, lacework and fabric painting. The four blocks feature different techniques. Combine embroidery with fabric painting, create a three-dimensional embroidery as an appliqué, see how easy it is to stitch a lacework appliqué and pad the center of an embroidered flower. Once completed, just construct the wallhanging, sit back, and enjoy the sunflowers. Counts as 3 sessions. Materials Fee: $18. Limit 20.

Embroidered and Painted Linen Towel

Take a classic linen towel, add a little embroidery and in an instant have anything but a classic. Working with an existing embroidery design altered just for this purpose, you’ll experience the beauty of hooped embroidery. Take it all up a notch, adding dimension and highlights with fabric paint. Finally, stitch the traditional linen towel hem as your finishing touch. Counts as 3 sessions. Materials Fee: $12. Limit 20.
