Perfect your rotary cutting and piecing skills as you create a throw size quilt top. This clever variation of the nine-patch block combination uses only two fabrics and is easy to piece. Includes basic quilting vocabulary, information about supplies, fabric prep, pressing. . . . and a little about your next steps of assembly, quilting and binding.

  • Experience Level: Rookies; appropriate for those who have never used rotary tools or pieced a quilt.
  • Supply List: Paper scissors, dressmaker shears, small scissors or snips, straight pins, tape measure, seam gauge (6" ruler), pencil, marking instrument (pen, pencil or chalk) and seam ripper.
  • Completion Level: Most will complete pieicing the top in class; border and binding to be added for a finished size of 42" x 54" -- a throw-size quilt.
