How many times have you finished a quilt top (or perhaps recieved one from a client), and find yourself asking “How should I quilt this?” As a result of her years running a professional longarm quilting business and having quilting thousands of quilts in that time, Jodi can share a successful approach for choosing designs. Along the way, learn about choosing a suitable batting, thread types, colors and even marking. This will be a lecture, but with open discussion and student involvement. Bring at least one quilt top to class for which you can gather quilting suggestions – after each student has shared a quilt, additional quilts will be shared as time permits. Preview designs on top of the quilts using a large plastic overlay and dry erase markers, making for a class that is appropriate for ALL machine quilters, domestic, short arm, mid arm, longarm.
