Learn the proper method for finding the center, stabilizing various critical areas, handling the neckline, cutting and fitting...anything and everything that should be done prior to actually sewing, so you’re ready to go when you get home. And…. you’ll get a jump drive with a movie so you can review when you’re ready to make your next jacket, too.
Beginner
Bring a nice sweatshirt you would like to turn into a jacket. You need your basic sewing supplies. Scissors-small applique and good cutting scissors...a pair of paper cutting scissors would be handy, snips for cutting threads, a seam gauge, hand needle, pins, fabric markers which should include, fade away, wash out, and white for dark fabrics. A seam ripper, just in case.
Jacket will be ready to embellish when you get home.
