A lovely bag from an expert on making bags, this one is just the right size, with enough polish and curves to become a favorite. Cleverly designed inside and out, it offers a chance to create a 3-dimensional embroidery and to learn a few of the most-used techniques in bag-making (and much of our other sewing). Learn some professional purse construction techniques—including how to stabilize without rigidity, how to easily install a zipper, make and attach micro-welt trim, create button and strap loops, and add a chain strap. The clever double-flap shows off the lining, and the simple closure, along with real purse hardware details, give it a professional finish.
