Discover useful, quick quilt techniques you will use time and again in your quilt practice while making this fun quilt depicting Farm Life. Look closely, there are many motifs and construction methods contained in this one, fanciful, incredible quilt design. Learn easy short-cuts for making multiple block units, even the more complex ones. Each of the blocks in this quilt are pieced traditionally, with no foundation piecing involved, no reverse sewing! Helene’s tricks for accurate cutting and piecing are perfect for quiltmakers at any level of experience --- and guarantee the success of this wonderful quilt. Class time will be spent on the main center block (the barn and silo), but you’ll leave class with the complete pattern, directions and skills needed to complete all the other blocks at home. Each block can be made as a stand-alone, or incorporated into the quilt as you see it. Bring your own fabric, see supply list for details.
