This very traditional block -- made new with today’s gorgeous fabrics -- has historically been pieced with templates or foundation pieced in two diagonal halves. Debby has updated it to be foundation pieced in a single unit, reminding us of an off-center log cabin in its construction. It goes together quickly, and in the process you’ll learn foundation piecing skills (with tricks to simplify the process), stitching accurate ¼” seams and how to set blocks on point. Perfect!
