When you want to make a BIG quilt from start to finish on your domestic machine, you’re bound to be stressed. The space to the right of your needle is limited, so you are limited, too. Instead, why not quilt in bite-sized pieces -- by the block -- and allow your quilt to grow to the size you really want? Learn Helene’s quilt-as-you-go techniques by first quilting several simple blocks. The fun begins as you learn different block joining methods, which include joining blocks without sashing for a traditional look, as well as joining blocks with sashing of various widths. Practice adding borders and you’ll be ready to tackle any size quilt with confidence
