A combination of aesthetics and technique, quilting with the use of rulers, templates and free motion stitches in combination is the best of all worlds. Practice using rulers and templates to achieve accuracy and symmetry in your quilting, and explore ways to effectively combine templates with free motion quilting. Create a series of practice samples on the longarm, including stitch-in-the-ditch and cross hatch, and a variety of fun designs using an assortment of templates. Two students will share a machine, so sign-up with a friend or make a new one in class when you join the fun! You'll be surprised at how much you'll learn between turns at the machine.
